Clear Boundaries

Certification and service notes

ASA provides bilingual mental health education, community activities, publications, membership programs and association certification applications.

  • ASA does not provide medical care, clinical diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. Its content does not replace individual assessment by a suitably qualified professional.
  • ASA membership and association-issued certificates are not Ahpra registration, psychologist qualification, statutory professional registration or a practising licence.
  • Certification applications are manually reviewed. Applicants remain responsible for working within their training, competence and applicable law.

For medical care, mental health assessment or urgent assistance, contact a suitably qualified local professional or emergency service.
